Everyday Makeup Routine ☼

Hello there! My first blog post will be about my "Everyday Makeup Routine" hence the name of this post lol. So, before I begin I just want to point out that I have rosacea. If you do not know what rosacea is it's a skin condition where certain facial blood vessels are enlarged, giving the cheeks and sometimes nose a flushed appearance. Therefore, my makeup routine may seem a little too heavy for people without rosacea. With that being said, let's get started! :)

First, I apply a thin layer of L'Oréal Paris: Magic Anti-Redness Correcting Primer all over my face and mainly focus on my cheeks (that's wear I have the most redness). I just use my fingers to massage the primer into my skin and let it sit for at least thirty seconds. I purchased this product at my local Target for around $10.99!
Next, I use Maybelline: Super Stay 24HR Concealer in the color Cream on any blemishes and a few red spots that the primer to not conceal. I know, usually concealer is applied after foundation, but this is just what works best for me! I just blend the concealer using my fingertips and lightly pat the product onto any imperfections to get the most out of the product. I purchased this from my local Target for about $6.50! It's an amazing product at a low price and hides blemishes very well.
The next product I use is Kat Von D: Lock-It Tattoo Foundation. I'm not positive what shade I am, but if I had to guess it would probably be Light 46. This is a full coverage foundation and it's a high end brand, so of course it's about $36 at Sephora. Although it is expensive I'm in love with this foundation! I use a RealTechniques by Samantha Chapman: Expert Face Brush that I got from Ulta for $8.99 to blend in the product. Just an FYI, you can find pretty much all of Sam's brushes and prices at Ulta.com for a really good price. Using small circle-like motions I blend this into my skin evenly and again, I'm focusing on the spots where my rosacea is the worst. The brush I use is absolutely amazing and gives my face an airbrush finished look! Everyone should have this brush in their life! It's just a very well made brush that you can use for anything.

Afterwards, I prime my eyelids with Urban Decay: Primer Potion from Ulta. I got the professional size when I purchased the 'Midnight Cowgirl Makeup Bag Set' last fall for $42! I use my finger to apply the primer all over my lid. While I let the primer set for a little while, I apply a little Vaseline: Cocoa Butter on my lips so they are not chapped and will be ready for lipstick later on. You can get this product at pretty much every drug store in America.
I then take my Urban Decay: Naked palette and apply the color Sin all over my eyelid, using a RealTechniques by Samantha Chapman: Base Shadow Brush. I got my 'Naked' palette from Ulta for $48 and it's one of my most favorite palettes that I own! Make sure to blend the eyeshadow and stay away from harsh lines when applying the product. Girl, ain't nobody want harsh lines! After I blend to my heart's desire, I take the color Sidecar and apply that color from the palette to the outer 'V' of my eye and blend until I'm pleased with the look!

Before I use mascara or do my eyebrows, I powder my face with Rimmel London: Stay Matte Pressed Powder in 001 Tranparent. I bought this from, yes again, my local Target for around $4.99. This powder has amazing coverage and is long lasting throughout school days. I apply this with another RealTechniques by Samantha Chapman: Powder Brush. It's nice and fluffy and big so you can quickly apply the product and go! This powder keeps away that shine that I absolutely despise! Wow. I just rhymed. I focus on my T-Zone (this is where I am the most oily) and put a little on my cheeks to set the foundation from earlier. Then I use Maybelline New York: Dream Sun Bronzer in the shade Glow Light. It's great for a nice healthy glow if you have fair skin and don't want to end up looking orange! It's fairly cheap too at about $6.99 from Target. I usually take some bronzer on my powder brush and lightly dust it onto my forehead and blend it down into my temples. I also apply some down the bridge of my nose and just a little on my chin. Make sure to blend as best as possible because like I said before- Girl ain't nobody want harsh lines!
Next, I use Urban Decay: Brow Box in Honey Pot. I got this from Sephora for $29 and I use it to fill in my eyebrows because unfortunately I don't have perfect eyebrows. Insert sad face emoji here. This product is pretty great if I do say so myself even if it's on the pricey side. Although the brow kit comes with two mini angled brushes, I like to use my RealTechniques by Samantha Chapman: Brow Brush. It's perfect for filling in eyebrows because it's super thin and easy to use! Make sure to follow the natural hair line of your eyebrows. Use short flicks to fill them in instead of long lines like you're drawing them on (something we don't want). We want them to look as natural as possible!

The last products I use are Revlon: Colorburst Lip Butter in Juicy Papaya and Covergirl: Lashblast Clump Crusher Mascara in Very Black. I bought the 'Lip Butter' from Ulta for $7.49 and it's been one of my favorite lip products. I can easily apply this on the go and that's why I love it so much! I can throw it in my bag and apply if necessary at school or wherever I go on a daily basis. Before I use the 'Clump Crusher' mascara I curl my lashes with a random eyelash curler I bought from Forever 21 for literally $3. They have tons there and they get the job done pretty well. When I apply mascara I make sure I get every single eyelash. I'm pretty specific and I guess OCDish on how I like them. I like my eyelashes to look full, but not clumpy and this mascara does exactly what I need it to do. I bought it from my local Target (can you tell I spend my entire life there?) for $6.94 and I've gone through about three of these amazing green tubes. I usually don't apply mascara to my bottom lashes for an everyday look. I feel like it makes me eyes look even smaller than they already are!

After that I'm finished with my makeup! Thank you so much for reading and I hope that this helped some of you who were looking for an easy 'Everyday Makeup Routine'. If you have an questions just comment below and I will get back to you ASAP!
